The suit worn by Bruce Lee in his famous "lost interview" realised $72,151 at an auction of his memorabilia at Nate D Sanders in Los Angeles yesterday (October 29).
The brown suede suit was worn during the famous interview for Canadian television in which Lee expounded on his personal philosophies.
The tapes were lost soon after the interview was filmed, and did not resurface until 1994.

The lot was consigned by the family of Herb Jackson, Bruce Lee's protege and friend who also built much of Lee's custom gym equipment that featured in the auction.
Lee gave most of the equipment back to Jackson before the actor's fateful return to Hong Kong in 1973, where he died on the set of Enter the Dragon.
Jackson was also given the suit by Lee on the set of Return of the Dragon, one of the actor's last films.
A punch bag owned and used by Lee also featured in the sale, selling for $27,121. The Atlas branded bag features moisture staining to the bottom quarter but is in otherwise fine condition.
It was used in training at Lee's Los Angeles based dojo where he taught jeet kune do - a reactive form of martial arts that he developed in the late 1960s.
A canvas striking shield used in Return of the Dragon made $18,522. It features significant wear along with a tear to the top edge, as well as moisture staining.
