A cast-signed mask used for the character of Michael Myers in classic horror movie Halloween is being auctioned online by actress Jamie Lee Curtis for charity, with bids closing on October 31.

The mask, signed by a number of cast members and one of only five original examples, holds an estimate of $10,000 on the website Charitybuzz, with proceeds to benefit the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.
"This mask has a group of signatures that would be very hard to replicate, and I've numbered them. There are five masks, and this is No. 1 of five that is going up for auction," Jamie Lee Curtis explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
The sale comes on the 35th anniversary of the release of Halloween (1978). Memorabilia from the Halloween films is widely collected, so the auction is sure to attract strong attention.
