A set of 15 Palitoy Star Wars figurines have sold for a combined total of �30,000 ($46,458) in the final instalment of a two-part sale at Vectis Auctions in Thornaby, UK.

Consigner Craig Stevens told the Gazette, a local newspaper: "I'm very pleased with the result of the auction. I'd budgeted to get a house for myself and my wife Karen and that is still going to happen."
"I do have mixed feelings about selling them, they are quite iconic. "It was never my original intention to sell them, I just started collecting them for myself. Back in the 90's I could tell these things were rare."
