A rare early Radiohead demo tape from 1986 is expected to highlight Omega Auctions' memorabilia auction on September 14.

The nine-track demo cassette is expected to make around £1,000 ($1,520).
It contains six songs that have never appeared on any official releases from the band: Fragile Friend, Girl (In The Purple Dress), Everybody Knows, Mountains (On The Move), Lemming Trail and Lock The Door.
Remixes of the tracks Fragile Friend, Lemming Trail and Lock The Door complete the track list. Some of the tracks have since been released online.
"It has come directly from an old friend of the band who was at school with them at Abingdon School. We have copies of his school yearbook from 85/86 showing him and all four members of the band," Omega Auctions' Paul Fairweather explained.
A highly-respected and long serving band, Radiohead are starting to show collectible potential. In July, an original artwork by lead singer Thom York sold for £5,000 ($7,532) at Bonhams.
Also starring in the auction is a series of diary pages and hand-written lyrics from controversial musician Pete Doherty, which were penned during the recording of The Libertines' Up The Bracket. They will be sold alongside one of his original artworks.
Paul Fraser Collectibles has one of Pete Doherty's rare blood paintings for sale.
