Countrywide Property Auctions is to handle the sale, with the house carrying a guide price of £100,000 ($162,185).

The firm commented: "The Harrison family moved into the then council house in 1950, when George was just six years old; he spent 12 happy years living there before fame and stardom whisked him away in 1962.
"Despite his young age, 25 Upton Green became a regular rehearsal venue for The Quarrymen, due in large part to the tolerance of George's parents."
John Lennon's former Liverpool home realised £480,000 ($772,000) in 2013, beating an initial estimate of £150,000 ($405,398) by 220%.
Harrison's house should also surpass its estimate thanks to its famous former inhabitant, although its location away from the city's tourist traffic will limit the price.
