A Travis Bean TB500 electric guitar owned by Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead is to headline Bonhams' Entertainment Memorabilia sale in London on December 18.
The guitar, bearing serial number 11, carries a valuation of £80,000-120,000 ($128,888-193,332) and was used extensively by Garcia both onstage and in the studio.

The guitar was built circa 1976 and features an aluminium headstock, a 22 fret mahogany fingerboard and a sticker affixed to the front that reads, "There is Nothing Like a Grateful Dead Concert".
In previous years, guitars owned by Garcia have realised significant sums at auction - with two custom-made guitars nicknamed Tiger and Wolf realising $957,500 and $789,500, respectively, at a 2002 auction.
An almost identical Travis Bean TB500, serial number 12, is offered at Julien's Auctions on December 6 with a $150,000-200,000 estimate.
A drum kit played onstage by Ginger Baker at the 2005 Cream reunion concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and Madison Square Gardens are valued at £15,000-20,000 ($24,166-32,222) ahead of the Bonhams auction.

The seven-piece DW kit features an emerald green lacquer finish and is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the legendary drummer.
Also featured in the sale is an autographed copy of the 1963 Beatles album With the Beatles, estimated at £10,000-15,000 ($16,111-24,166).
The back cover is signed by all four member of the band, and features a dedication from John Lennon "to Barbara".
The Barbara in question was the girlfriend of the consignor, who was assistant stage manager of the Liverpool Empire between 1961 and 1971.
Albums signed by the Beatles are extremely rare; With the Beatles - with 15-20 known examples - is the second-most common behind Please Please Me.
We have a signed copy of A Hard Day's Night, of which only 8-10 signed copies are known to exist.
