A set of handwritten lyrics to Jimi Hendrix's Crosstown Traffic are to auction at Ted Owen & Co.

Hendrix wrote the lyrics in ballpoint pen in 1968. The item includes several variations on the final words.
Ted Owen told the Daily Mirror: "Hendrix wrote Crosstown Traffic in New York where it is an expression for traffic flow. He often wrote an outline for a song based on flashbacks of things he had seen or experienced.
"The lyrics are a working draft, which in my opinion is even nicer than owning a final version because they are much rarer, and you get to see what went on in the process of making it.
"I think it will be sold for anywhere in between £25,000 and £35,000. Although if the right people are bidding, and by this I mean real big fans of Hendrix, then it could even go for more."
In 1993, the white Stratocaster Hendrix played at Woodstock made $1.3m in a private sale.
The present sale will also feature an original set of lyrics to Rick James' 1981 hit Superfreak, which carries an estimate of £4,000-6,000 ($6,154-9,232).
