A collection of never before seen photographs of John Lennon has been discovered.
The shots were brought to a valuation day at The Beatles Story in Liverpool hosted by Julien’s Auctions.
These shots of John Lennon have never been published
They were taken by a local man in February 1970, not long after the Beatles broke up. Incredibly, the consignor had kept them tucked away in a drawer for almost half a century.
Auctioneer Darren Julien said: “It’s not often when you find images of John Lennon that have never before been seen by the public. These 26 images/negatives of John Lennon are a rare find”.
They’re estimated to bring around £10,000 ($13,110) ahead of a sale next year.
