Bidding on a pair of eyeglasses worn by John Lennon stands at $15,568 at RR Auction, with the sale due to close on March 20.

They are in the classic style associated with Lennon and were presented by him to musician Victor Borge, who he worked with during the 1970s.
In 1974, they were sold to a family in Massachusetts for $750.
