A personal notebook Miles Davis used during the recording of Rubberband, his unreleased lost album, is selling at RR Auction.
|
Davis recorded the album in 1985, which marked a departure from the jazz great's usual style. Some tracks from the sessions have since emerged.
The notebook features sketches, snatches of music notation and a signature from Davis.
It looks set to sell for more than $10,000 by the November 17 close date.
We have our own piece of jazz history for sale.
