Bidding on a Yamaha C3 grand piano played on Oasis' Definitely Maybe (1994) album is at £1,850 ($2,687) in an eBay auction.
The lot comes from Monmow Valley Studios in south Wales and has also appeared on records by the Charlatans, Black Sabbath and Simple Minds.

The sale will close on February 18.
The piano can be heard on Oasis' 1994 hit single Supersonic, which gave birth to the Britpop movement.
The consignor explains: "We are reluctantly selling our Grand Piano as it has come to the end of its life as a recording instrument.
"The piano was bought new in the late 1980s from Cranes in Cardiff and has featured on some of the best known records in the world…
"We anticipate that it would be of interest to either an Oasis super fan or someone looking for an entry level grand piano with the most interesting legacy in the country…
"It is still a stunning instrument, even with the bumps & scrapes (and red wine stains!). Each one telling the story of a moment in rock n roll!"
Oasis memorabilia has a dedicated following, with one collector paying £4,140 ($6,000) for Noel Gallagher's lyrics book in 1998.
