A collection of rare Beatles promotional photos given to a young fan by a security guard at Apple Records in 1971 will be sold at Anderson & Garland.

The consignor, Barbara Henderson, explains: "I don't really want to let them go but they're gathering dust.
"They're so rare - I have never seen them anywhere else and I'm always looking for Beatles pictures."
The lot is valued at £300-500 ($425-708) ahead of the March 23 auction in Newcastle, UK.
