A fully signed copy of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles, one of only five known, has sold for $146,415 at RR Auction.
Bidding on the lot, which features the autographs of all four band members, closed on January 15.

The consignor acquired the signatures when the band stayed at the Atlantic Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall in 1967, where he worked as a porter.
It failed to beat the current record for a signed Beatles album - which was set at $290,500 by another copy of Sgt Pepper last year.
The reason? George's autograph is slightly faded on this example. Harrison also signed the record at a later date.
The auction also featured a score by Ludwig Van Beethoven, which made $396,500.
We have a rare signed copy of A Hard Day's Night, one of just eight to 10 in existence.
