A signed copy of the Beatles' Love Me Do single is to highlight the annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction on August 29.

Love Me Do was the Beatles' first single |
Released on October 5, 1962, Love Me Do was the Beatles' first single and reached #17 in the UK charts.
This single was signed at a record shop in Widnes, Cheshire.
Signed records from early in the band's career are more common than later ones as they were still relatively approachable.
By the time they'd played their first shows in America, around the time of the release of their second US album, they were surrounded by a coterie of handlers.
The sale will also include a handkerchief signed by the late Cilla Black.
