A signed copy of Meet the Beatles - the band's second US album - sold for $118,230 in RR Auction's online sale on March 13.
The record was presented to Dr Jules Gordon, a doctor who tended to George Harrison's tonsillitis the day before the band's iconic performance on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964.

The event was covered by Thomas Buckley in the New York Times, who wrote: "Mr. Harrison, who is known as the quiet Beatle, awoke yesterday with a sore throat.
"He was treated by Dr. Jules Gordon, used a vaporizer and rejoined his colleagues at the studio late in the afternoon. 'I should be perfect for tomorrow,' he said."
Signed copies of Meet the Beatles are rare, with only a handful known to exist.
A signed copy of Beatles 65 will auction at Julien's in May.

Elsewhere in the sale, an archive of material from the estate of legendary jazz musician Roy Eldridge (1911-1989) made $71,553.
Eldridge played trumpet for some of the biggest bandleaders of the era, including Coleman Hawkins, Charles Mingus and Ella Fitzgerald.
The lot comprises written material including sheet music, Christmas cards (two of which are signed by Ella Fitzgerald) and bank statements along with a range of instruments, records, photographs and Eldridge's trademark black beret.
