A 1968 Gibson Byrdland belonging to Ted Nugent is to be offered in a June 20 sale at Heritage Auctions in Dallas.

The lot is one of the first guitars Nugent ever owned and is expected to make in excess of $100,000.
Heritage Auctions explain the guitar's seminal importance: "Ted Nugent used this guitar to write and record "Stranglehold" in late 1974….
