Interasia Auctions will offer China's 1897 Red Revenue small $1 stamp in what promises to be the largest philatelic auction in Hong Kong this year.

The auction will be held on June 29-July 1, with 2,800 lots expected to total more than $6.4m.
The Red Revenue, one of China's most famous rarities and one of only 32 recorded examples, will sell with a $773,500-1m valuation.
Also starring in the sale will be an 1880 cover from Great Britain to China, which bears stamps from both nations, including a China 3 candarin Large Dragon that was used to pay Chinese internal postage. It is expected to see $90,500-116,000.
