A 1901 Trinidad one pence black on red error realised $37,500 in the worldwide part of the Irwin Weinberg collection sale at Robert A Siegel.
The auction took place in New York on November 15.

Only seven of these value-omitted stamps are recorded, four of which were attached to covers and subsequently cancelled.
Only three singles of this exotic issue are known to exist, making it one of the rarest issues in the entire British Empire series.
