A rare sign for Allens Red Tame Cherry is to lead a premier selection of advertising memorabilia in a dedicated sale on March 30 in Pennsylvania.

The embossed tin sign was produced circa 1910 and will be sold with a $20,000-30,000 estimate. It shows a young girl and boy grinning at a table emblazoned with the company's slogan: "Drink Allens Red Tame Cherry and you'll smile too."
Another example of the Red Tame Cherry sign, a popular collector's item, sold for $55,200 in 2011, spelling good results for the present sale.
Also featuring in the auction is a selection of Coca-Cola memorabilia, led by a six-piece Taylor Smith china grouping estimated at $2,000-4,000.
