'Luxury' stamp sells with an entry-level reserve in Stockholm

Stockholm auction house AB Philea has a well-filled auction coming up next weekend (Saturday May 14) with a number of good lots from many different areas of the world.

Selling alongside a range of rare and valuable coins is this 1992 "fantastic luxury copy" of a 1990 Scott 55 cents light blue stamp.

According to its condition report, the stamp has some "natural rubber folds" from its production but these are not visible from its front.

Well centred and with all its perforations intact, this Swedish stamp offers a beautiful entry-level investment for philatelists.

Its reserve value is listed as approximately €2,450 ($3,550). Interested parties can bid online via AB Philea's website.
