H&H Classics featured a 2001 Daimler Majestic 4.0 LWB custom built for Queen Elizabeth II in its July 26 auction.
The royals used this car between 2001 and 2007
The car is still outfitted with security lights and a specially designed holder for the royal handbag. It realised £38,000 ($49,928).
Daimler has long been the British royal family’s preferred maker.
The company was granted a royal warrant by King Edward VII in 1902.
Damian Jones of H&H Classics explained: “Royal cars do come to the market from time to time but fairly infrequently.
“So when they do come to auction they usually command a premium price.”
