An original Concorde machmeter is valued at £10,000-15,000 ($17,016-25,524) ahead of a sale at Chaucer Autograph Auctions in Folkestone, UK on July 25.
It was presented to long standing British Airways pilot Captain Mike Bannister for his 22 years of service after the fleet retired in 2003.

The device indicates the speed of the aircraft, which had a cruising speed of Mach 2 (1,350mph). Very few were ever made, with the result that they are now highly sought after by collectors.
One example sold for £28,000 ($47,646) in a Bonhams charity auction of Concorde parts in 2003.
The auction will also feature a set of covers signed by Luftwaffe aces.
We have some incredible aviation artefacts, including this original piece of the Spirit of St Louis signed by Charles Lindbergh.
