Two England football international caps won by centre-forward John Goodall in the 1890s are to feature in a UK auction on March 15.

The Preston North End legend's caps are expected to see bids of up to £1,200 each ($1,500). One white and the other red, they were awarded to Goodall for playing in games against Wales and Ireland.

Goodall starred in Preston North End's undefeated 1889 team, dubbed The Invincibles, who won that year's league title and FA Cup. He was also the final goal scorer in the 26-0 FA Cup defeat of Hyde in 1887.
