Following a great deal of Twitter speculation, Goldin Auctions has announced that it is to auction a raft of Kobe Bryant basketball memorabilia in June 2013.

Although the details of the auction are yet to be fully disclosed, the auction house's official website is already displaying a fine range of Bryant memorabilia, including game-worn jerseys, trophies, signed basketballs and sneakers.
ESPN's Darren Rovell alerted the Twitter-sphere to the forthcoming auction yesterday (April 29), tweeting: "Huge @KobeBryant auction being announced tomorrow by @goldinauctions, includes his used HS jerseys".
Rovell has since used the social networking site to suggest that a 2000 championship ring Bryant gave to his father may also feature.
Nicknamed "the Black Mamba", Bryant has played his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning the championship five times.
