A unique piece of carpet from the tunnel at Manchester United's Old Trafford is selling in a special single-lot auction this month at PFC Auctions.

Bids on the Astro Turf carpet, which is also listed for auction at Picollecta.com, will run until November 1.
The 115 x 74 inch display piece bears the famous Red Devils team badge with the message "Welcome to Old Trafford".
Old Trafford, often referred to as "The Theatre of Dreams", is one of the world's most famous stadiums, home to the iconic Manchester United for over a century.
Originally laid at the end of the player's tunnel, the carpet was used during some of the club's most important seasons.
The carpet dates to the mid-1990s, which marked a return to the glory years for the club, and would have been walked on by every player of the period, including the likes of Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Roy Keane.
Bidding starts at just £100 ($161).
A PFC Auctions spokesperson commented: “We’re delighted to be offering such a great piece of football memorabilia.
"Manchester United are one of the world’s biggest clubs, with a rich and storied history. We’re sure that fans will jump at the opportunity to own a piece of that history, which was present at the rebirth of the club in the early 1990s and the first league title in a quarter of a century.”
The carpet is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the consignor, which explains how he acquired the piece while working for the Astro Turf company that replaced it in June 1996.
