The jersey New York Mets catcher Mike Piazza wore in the team's first game after the 9/11 attacks is to sell at Goldin Auctions on April 30.

Piazza famously hit a home run to win the game.

Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions explained to the New York Daily News: "To me, it's the most significant moment in Mets history.

"(Piazza's homer) was a dramatic moment, with a worldwide audience. Everybody was watching."

The jersey displays "9-11-01" on the right sleeve and the stars and stripes on the collar. It's expected to exceed $50,000.
