The statues, which have been on display around the city over the summer, are unique, with some featuring decoration by top artists. In total, £2.3m ($3.6m) was raised towards a £3.5m expansion for the hospital.
One statue, named Gromit Lightyear and designed by animation studio Pixar, sold for an impressive £65,000 ($104,040).
Creator Nick Park commented, "I couldn't wait to see the Pixar Gromit Lightyear go because obviously that was a top runner. It just kept going up. When the first few started climbing I started tingling. It was double the target."
