Now, Peter Sidlow and Pat MacGuire's Victorian Casino Antique Auction promises a wealth on treasures related to Las Vegas' favourite pastime.
It is scheduled for March 12-14.
Highlights in the sale include this Five Cent Watling Rol-A-Top Bird of Paradise Slot Machine, with all its keys intact and a 'twin jackpot' feature.

The seller isn't taking a gamble on this one, auctioning it with a wide estimate of $1,400 -14,000.
A restored Wurlitzer Model 750 Jukebox, estimated at $2,400-24,000 will also feature among the lots.
The sale will be held by auctioneer VCA in, appropriately enough, the casino Mecca of Las Vegas. Live online bidding will be available.
