The now defunct four-star Durley House Hotel in Sloane Street, London, is to auction its contents on January 26, having previously hosted Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, who was a regular there throughout the sixties.

In its heyday, the Durley House Hotel boasted 11 uniquely decorated rooms, reports This Is Somerset.
Having closed in early 2013, the hotel's copious and stylish contents are to auction in Frome, UK.
The one day sale is set to feature a host of items, including cabinets, beds, oil paintings, and mirrors - many of which may have been opened, slept on or gazed at by Jagger himself.
Auctioneer Quintyn Howard-Evans told the publication: "I am expecting it to cause quite a stir as there are some lovely items on sale, including Edwardian and Victorian furniture, interesting lamps and stunning oil paintings."
