A 500ml bottle of McDonald's Big Mac sauce has sold for $20,600 in an Australian eBay auction.
Despite the enormous popularity of the sauce, this is the first time it has ever been made available outside of the context of the eponymous sandwich.

The company explained prior to the sale: "This bottle is #1 of only 200 being produced worldwide, and they won't be sold in restaurants. That makes it rarer than a spot on Bondi beach on New Year's Day…
