This exclusive and unseen footage of Michael Jackson will be offered
for sale with The Fame Bureau on November 26
Consternation has arisen in some quarters following the recent announcement that US auctioneer Julien's is selling furniture from Michael Jackson's final home of 100 North Carolwood Drive, including the bed that he died in.
But if you're on the lookout for a less-controversial way to honour the King of Pop's legacy, look no further than Fame Bureau auctioneers upcoming sale on November 26.
The sale will include a previously unseen tour film made by Jackson at the peak of his career. Considering the immense posthumous draw the Thriller singer has had at recent top auctions, the video is likely to draw frenzied bidding.
Dating to 1993 and Jackson's world-conquering Dangerous tour, the video was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina with then-state-of-the-art equipment. However, the video was shelved when the star was apparently unhappy with the finished product.
Jackson later gifted the VHS tape to his Brazilian chauffeur. It is understood to be the only copy of the footage. The driver - who has chosen to remain anonymous - has also chauffeured famous names including Madonna, former President George Bush Snr and Margaret Thatcher.
Two years after his death, aged 50, the Moonwalker star is currently at the top of Forbes' latest list of 'Top Earning Dead Celebrities' - his estate has earned $170m and counting, ahead of the likes of Elvis, John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe.
Meanwhile, competition remains high among worldwide bidders to get their hands on the rarest and most iconic collectibles from Jackson's career, which has seen his memorabilia sell for hundreds of thousands from auctions in both East and West.

At present, the most valuable piece of Michael Jackson memorabilia is his red leather Thriller jacket worn for director John Landis's 'mini-movie' music video for the 1983 hit single. Jackson later wore identical replicas of the jacket throughout his career, cementing its status as an iconic piece.
The jacket sold for a record price of $1.8m in June of this year.
In comparison, the unreleased two-hours-long Jackson video for sale at the Fame Bureau in London has been optimistically priced at £4m ($6,425,120). Whether global desire to own this video tape matches the proven market value of the Thriller jacket remains to be seen.
A small clip from the unreleased tape was leaked on YouTube by the anonymous chauffeur back in 2009, before Jackson's record label and lawyers from the singer's estate claimed exclusive rights and ordered for the clip to be removed.
Given the growing value of Michael Jackson's collectibles - his autograph has risen in value by 60% in the last 12 months alone according to the PFC40 Autograph Index, rising in value from £750 to £1,200 - the outcome of the sale will no doubt be fascinating.
