A PSA grade 9 Pikachu Illustrator Pokemon card is being offered on eBay with a starting bid of $100,000.
The card is one of only six examples in the world. The promotional card was printed for winners of an illustration contest in 1997.

According to the seller, the card is the first graded copy to hit the market and is the highest graded copy in existence.
Ungraded Illustrator cards have changed hands for large sums - another example sold for $20,000 at auction in 2009. More recently, one was sold through Yahoo Japan for $10,000.
The auction ends on September 18.
