Registration number 1 SUV to beat $3,500?

The car registration number 1 SUV is among the star lots of the British Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency's (DVLA) latest number plate auction.

The lot is expected to make more than £2,400 ($3,385) in the sale in Barnsley, UK on February 24-26.  

DVLA spokesman Adam Griffiths explained: "Everyone in the industry knows there's a huge debate on which car is the ultimate SUV.

"While we aren't qualified to judge which vehicle is the best on the market, we are offering what we believe to be the ultimate in SUV-related personalised registrations in 1 SUV and SUV 70Y."
