Skinner's March auction of Fine Jewellery will feature over 650 lots, including works by Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Black, Starr & Frost, Schlumberger, William Scheer, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Droguet.
Rare pieces in the sale date back as far as 1800.
Highlights include the collection of Hope Goddard Iselin of New York and Newport, the first woman to compete in the America's Cup.

Also for sale is jewellery from the Samuel Colt family, famed inventor of the Colt revolver.
Prized items in the auction will include this Arts & Crafts Opal (pictured), made from demantoids - one of the most brilliant gemstones in existence - suspended on a peridot longchain.
By master craftsmen Potter and Mellen, it carries an estimate of $10,000-15,000.
Collectors on the look-out for antique jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, vintage works by the best makers, and artist designed contemporary pieces won't want to miss Skinner's sale.
It takes place on March 16 in Boston, Massachusetts, US.
Prior to that, New York City will host Patrizzi & Co's unmissable sale of Cartier jewellery - billed as 'its most important Cartier sale for 14 years' - being held this Tuesday (March 9).
