Alongside the Marlon Brando watch we reported previously, one of the world's most valuable watches is going up for auction on September 17.
The Patek Philippe 2499 was made around 1980, but occasional examples of this watch have been being made for decades, with several variations.
The estimate given of $250,000-350,000 is low, and almost guaranteed to be surpassed as a Patek Philippe 2499, albeit a different variation from the 1960s, sold for £1.7m not long ago.
The watch is made of 18K yellow gold, is 36mm wide and shows seconds, day, date, month and even the phases of the moon inset. There is also a 30 minute push-button timer in the form of another dial.
It is rare for such a perfect representation of the Patek Phillipe style to come up for auction.
