A Victorian enamel presentation bangle is among the standout lots at Dreweatts' jewellery sale on Wednesday June 8.
The item was a gift from Queen Victoria to her Lady of the Bedchamber from 1878 to 1901, Lady Ismay Catherine Southampton.
It features an enamel portrait of Queen Victoria, is signed "Queen Victoria painted by WC Bell 1879", and has a top end estimate of £3,000 (around $5,000).
An emerald and diamond heart-shaped locket pendant, given as a gift by the Duke of Wellington, is another leading feature of the Donnington Priory auction in Berkshire, UK.
Inscribed on the reverse, "Given to Mary Marchioness of Salisbury by Arthur Duke of Wellington 1851", the pendant consists of an emerald mounted within a pave set surround of cushion-shaped, brilliant-cut diamonds of approximately 3 carats.

The piece has a high estimate of £5,000 and is a reminder of Wellington's friendship with the Marchioness, with whom he remained in constant contact with throughout his life.
Antique jewellery is again tempting those looking to make alternative investments, as Dreweatts' James Nicholson explains.
"There has been a great resurgence of interest in period jewellery and especially good quality classical Victorian and Edwardian pieces," he said.
A regency gold, emerald, pink topaz and foiled stone parure of circa 1820, which has a high end estimate of £7,000, will also star.
A James Dallas and William Russell 18 carat gold pocket watch, hallmarked London 1814, is among the most tempting timepieces on offer. It has a top end estimate of £4,000.
