This week, an attractive selection of pieces will be appearing in Fellow's Antique and Modern Jewellery with around 600 lots going under the hammer.
In amongst these are a handful of pieces which are investment-grade.
Our favourite watch on show is an 18ct gold sapphire and diamond set wristwatch from Chopard, the octagonal shape plain dial surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds and attached bracelet strap formed of ten square shape sapphires interspaced by clusters of six brilliant cut diamonds.

With an estimated total diamond weight 8.00cts, the piece is expected to sell for £3,000-5,000.
A pair of late 19th/early 20th century diamond and pink enamel cufflinks are available from the world-famous House of Fabergé, also bearing the estimate of £3,000-5,000.
From Van Cleef & Arpels is a natural sapphire and diamond ring, circa 1960. The oval sapphire, of Ceylon origin, is in a four claw setting flanked by tapered baguette cut diamonds in a sumptuous chevron design.
The known sapphire weight is 15.40cts, dimensions 15.3 x 12.8 x 8.2mm whilst the estimated total diamond weight is 0.40cts and it is expected to sell for £12,000-18,000.

The likely top lot is a diamond pendant, the old cushion cut diamond above four small diamonds and a suspended old pear cut diamond. It comes accompanied by a report from AnchorCert stating that the pear cut diamond is 3.86cts. This is expected to sell for £15,000-20,000 ($31,000).
The sale takes place on January 13. All the items for sale at the Birmingham-based auction house are available for online bidding.
