US auction house Skinner, Inc will host a sale of fine jewellery at its Boston gallery promising "excellent quality and diversity" on December 6.
Sale highlights include a number of beautiful art deco pieces including the cover lot: a Chaumet emerald, ruby and diamond pendant brooch estimated to sell for between $150,000-200,000.
Other prize collectibles include important colored stones, and a wide variety of wristwatches "to suit a broad range of styles," says the auctioneer.

Art Deco will also make an appearance with lot 750, a fine art deco carved emerald, ruby, and diamond pendant brooch, Chaumet, Paris, set with three large carved emeralds.
The approximate total diamond weight is 6.75 cts. and is estimated between $150,000-200,000.
The brooch comes from The Lillian S. Timken Collection of Precious Stone Jewellery whose provenance goes back to Parke-Bernet Galleries, New York, 1960.
It was purchased by Frank J Lauerman Jr, the former President of the Lauerman Bros department stores based in Marinette, Wisconsin, as a present for his wife, Monica.

Also of note is lot 764, a fine art deco platinum and diamond figural bracelet whose design depicts dragons. It was formerly retailed by prestigious firm Thomas Kirkpatrick & Co of New York.
