$2.5m necklace: released October 15

The renowned jeweller Louis Vuitton has released six unique necklaces.

Each features a unique design by Lorenz Bäumer, with a price tag of $2.5m.

The necklaces relate to the six sets which form Louis Vuitton's Spirit of Travel range.

Bäumer's designs are inspired by his world travels, reports Luxist.

One necklace, for instance, features swirling jewellery patterns linked with magnificent gemstones based on the brightly coloured collars worn by the Masai people.

Bäumer's exotic and multilayered design also includes Louis Vuitton's signature brown and gold colours, and the brand's famous flower symbol.

The new jewelry line will be made available to the public on Thursday, October 15 at the brand's flagship store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
