Antiquorum are headlining their upcoming New York sale with a double tourbillion Greubel Forse, believing that this will be the most eye-catching piece.
However, that is not the watch which they expect to be the top lot. That honour goes to a bold platinum beauty: Jules Audemars - Tourbillon Répétition Minutes Quantième Perpetuel, the second watch in the "Tradition of Excellence" cabinet series.
As the name suggests, the watch is a minute repeater (that is it can sound a chime to indicate the precise minute of the day at the push of a button), has a one minute tourbillion and has a perpetual calendar - features which mark it out as a top range piece of design.

In looks, the watch has a solid, substantial frame and a large round face with Roman numerals. The tourbillion regulator is visible, and will no doubt fascinate anyone with an interest in watch design.
Antiquorum's sale takes place on March 10, and it is not one which watch collectors will want to miss.
