The watch was produced circa 2008 and sports a classic black dial with hourly-applied luminous markers. It sold for £4,700 ($7,215), just below its high estimate of £4,800.
Rolex was well represented in the sale, with a fine bi-metal Submariner bringing the second highest bids of the auction, selling for £3,200 ($4,907).
