Auctioneers Edward Roberts International will be holding its first fine wine sale of the 2010 season on Sunday February 7 at the Union League Club of Chicago.

We've already taken at look at the exquisite 1961 Château La Mission Haut-Brion, selling from the Albert D Williams, Jr collection.
Another star lot will be the highly praised 1959 Château D'Yquem, from the famed Walgreen collection, famed for its complexity, concentration and sweetness.
Château D'Yquem was the only Sauternes given a "Great First Growth" rating in the Bordeaux Wine official Classification of 1855.
The wine also boasts a fine literary and celebrity pedigree.
It has been mentioned in novels by Proust, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Lolita author Vladimir Nabokov; was namedropped by Humphrey Bogart in the 1955 film We're No Angels; and bears the dubious distinction of being a favourite tipple of Hollywood cannibal Hannibal Lecter, famously portrayed onscreen by Anthony Hopkins.
Edward Roberts International will be hoping that its February 7 sale continues the success it enjoyed throughout 2009.
The US auction house enjoyed an impressive growth of up-to 14% for its online fine wine auctions throughout 2009, according to Wine Spectator.
