A superb selection of Chateau Trotanoy, including a 1966 case, presents itself at Hart Davis Hart's wine auction on October 27.
More than 250 bottles of the Bordeaux will be up for grabs at the Chicago auction, directly from the Pomerol estate where they are produced.

The selections include some of the finest vintages ever seen by the winery, including 12 bottles from 1966, held in their original wooden case, which have a $4,500 high estimate.
A single lot of three double magnums from 1982 are expected to achieve up to $6,000, an estimate matched by two lots of 12 bottles from the same year.
108 magnums, 16 double magnums, 12 imperials, and three jeroboams will feature in all from the estate, which produces just 25,000 bottles a year, explaining the clamour for those that have avoided being consumed through the years.
The auction house has called the selection "an amazing opportunity for collectors to experience and acquire bottles with impeccable provenance and in optimum condition."
There will also be several lots of Chateau Petrus for Bordeaux lovers to also enjoy, including an imperial of the 2000 vintage, valued at $35,000.
Burgundy bidders will also be able to get their hands on three bottles of DRC's 2005 Romanee-Conti, valued at $48,000, while the estate's La Tache offering will also feature prominently, with a selection of 13 vintages from 1966 to 2009.
The Liv-Ex 100, which tracks the price of the world's 100 most sought after vintages - mostly Bordeaux - rose 0.5% in September but remains 9.2% down since the beginning of the year.
We will bring you full results of the sale later in the month.
