A three bottle lot of Romanee Conti's highly sought after 1999 vintage will lead Bonhams' Fine & Rare Wines auction in London on July 11.

The 1999 is a renowned vintage from the Domaine de la Romanee Conti Burgundy estate, warranting an estimated sale price of £22,000-28,000 ($33,638-41,813).
Another Romanee-Conti lot comprising three bottles of the 1989, expected to bring between £15,000 and £18,000 ($22,935-27,522), will follow the 1999.
The centrepiece of the sale will be a superb collection from a purpose built cellar in Austria, which is highlighted by an astonishing range of 30 vintages of Chateau Mouton Rothschild spanning 1955-2008.
A case of the 2005 vintage from this collection is valued at £3,200-4,000 ($4,889-6,116).
A UK private collector has consigned six vintage of Chateau d'Yquem in half bottles to the sale, with a case of the 2001 vintage estimated at £1,600-1,900 ($1,834-2,446).
Also featuring from the collection are 20 lots from leading German wine estates, including 12 half bottles of Oberhauser Brucke Riesling Eiswein 2003, which are estimated at £1,300-1,500 ($1,987-2,293).
Further highlights come from the cellar of a distinguished college, including magnums of Paul Jaboulet's Hermitage La Chappelle 1978, in addition to other fine Rhone wines.
