A blend of Kentucky's finest bourbons, dubbed Master Distillers' Unity, will auction for charity at Bonhams' Whisky, Cognac and Rare Spirits auction on October 13.

The blend has been specially developed in an effort to raise money to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease. It consists of bourbons from Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey and Woodford Reserve.
The master distiller from each brand selected the extra-aged bourbons, and they were then blended by Heaven Hill Distilleries' Parker Beam, who has himself been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease.
With equal amounts of each brand, the blend will be auctioned in a two-bottle crystal set. It will not be sold in stores, with the only other tasting available to those attending a tribute to Parker Beam at WhiskyFest New York on October 12.
