On September 7 in Hong Kong, Sotheby's will offer a private single-owner cellar of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (DRC) wines.

The sale, entitled Only DRC - A Private Cellar of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, is the second single-owner wine sale due to take place during Sotheby's autumn season, after it announced a sale of wines from Domaine Clarence Dillon.
The present sale will offer over 140 lots, which are expected to raise between $1.4m and $2.1m. Leading bids will be a methuselah of 1989 Romanee-Conti, which will sell with an estimate of $65,000-100,000.
A total of 36 six-litre methuselahs from across DRC's offerings will feature, as well as 70 magnums and over 400 bottles from eight of the DRC vineyards.
A pair of 1994 Romanee-Conti bottles topped Bonhams' Fine and Rare Wines auction in London yesterday, selling at £11,500 ($17,383).
