Bonhams' Scottish Sale will see a fine selection of whiskies, with The Macallan 1961 set to star on August 20-21 in Edinburgh.

The sale focuses on antiques and interiors, but will offer a selection of Scotland's favourite tipples. The Macallan 1961 bottle is valued at £6,000-8,000 ($9,200-12,000).
The bottle is only of only 379 ever produced and will be sold in its original wooden presentation case.
Also featuring is Dalmore's 1959 30-year-old, housed in its own limited edition Edinburgh Crystal decanter, which was created to mark the 150th anniversary of the distillery.
Numbered 20 out of an edition of 50, it will be sold in a presentation case with a crystal stopper for between £3,000 and £5,000 ($4,600-7,600).
According to The International Wine and Spirits Research, the global Scotch whisky industry has seen a compound growth rate of 1.3% pa between 2002 and 2011, with exports increasing by 12% in the 12 months to June 2012.
