In today's Paul Fraser Collectibles Video of the Week, collectors and experts journey to the 24th Annual Aspen Food & Wine Festival.
And among the variety of coveted foods and beverages was something very special indeed: the unveiling of Macallan's highly limited 50-year-old scotch.
Rightly described in the above film as "one of the rarest whiskies you could possibly try," only 175 bottles of the 50-year-old were issued to the United States.
Then they sold at around $6,000 - a value that will surely have greatly appreciated since (just 75 Macallan 50-year-old bottles remained at the time the video was made).
The above video gives a fascinating insight to tasters' experiences of an exciting and precious new whisky, anticipating both its flavours and its performance on the markets.
This is a must-see for lovers and collectors of the world's finest whiskies.
