Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989) was a Spanish surrealist painter best known for his bizarre artworks.
He was a leader of the Surrealist Movement. The Persistence of Memory (1931), which shows soft, melting pocket watches on a beach, is one of the defining works of the style. Dali also created surrealist sculptures including Lobster Telephone, which features a plastic lobster attached to the handset.
He remains a hugely influential figure in the art world.

Signed "Dali" to the lower margin and numbered "190/250" in pencil on BFK Rives paper.
Measures 540 by 395mm and is unframed.
