New Hebrides 1938 French Gold Currency set of 12 to 10f, perforated 'SPECIMEN' (type B9), VERTICAL PAIRS (25c to 10f marginal) except 10c whis is a single example, SGF53s/64s.
A very fine unmounted mint set of specimens with full original gum. Only minor condition issues, which do not detract, with the odd shortish perforations and minor separations.
Overall a fine quality set which are rare in this form as multiples.
These "SPECIMEN" examples were used solely by postal administrations for reference purposes to help spot any attempted forgeries.
